6-Day Explore Northern Parks Journey

After your arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport/ Arusha Airport), your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation. Also, you can explore the city with a tour that includes visits to the Cultural Heritage art gallery, local market, and Maasai Market.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. After a 2.5 hour drive through beautiful landscapes we arrive at Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is located 120 km south of Arusha, and is a long and narrow park that covers 2850 km2 and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park is also coming from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we will go to Marera Valley Lodge.

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara which is Located southwest of Arusha. Lake Manyara is ground water forests, bush plain, baobab strewn cliffs and algae streaked as well as pink flamingos. Also, in Lake Manyara there is a big number of elephants, giraffe, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck and warthog, small known shy kicks dik dik as well as klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment. Lake Manyara is home of larger troops of baboons and famous for its tree climbing lions which attract the visitors also different kind of species such as mahogany and elegant acacias is their home during rainy season. Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will briefly stop at the gate and view the breathtaking crater, Arrive late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti). At the same time, we proceeded to do a game drive to late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of the wild animals. We might be lucky and see a predator hunt! Finally, we will head to Tukaone Camp.

Today, we explore the broader parts of the Serengeti as we travel northwest and we follow the wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, we depart on a morning game drive carrying a picnic lunch. The game drive will focus on the Mara River and hopefully see herds of the migration animals as they cross the river. We continue our game drive until the evening, when we return to Safari Migration Camp for dinner and our overnight stay. Animals can be spotted at the camp.

Today, we travel west and return to the Mara River. Here, we will see formations of wildebeest as they gather and prepare to cross the Mara River. Hopefully, we will see the start of the migration. After an early breakfast, we will depart for the game drive, have lunch, and continue the game drive until the evening. Finally, we will return to Tukaone Camp.

After an early breakfast, we will go on a game drive south of Serengeti toward Seronera. Eventually, we will exit the Serengeti in the late afternoon, heading to Farm of dreams for dinner and overnight.

Today we’re going to do a game drive in the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater has a diameter of about 20 kilometers and a 600 -meter-high crater wall. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 larger mammals. In the center of the crater is a Salt Lake. This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world. It is a unique area where animals and humans as the authentic Maasai and Hadzabe live together. From the edge of the crater, you look out over the impressive crater and its wonderful inhabitants. In the afternoon we’ll be heading back to Arusha or take you direct to the Airport.
